Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm, by Chairman, Scott Jardine. Present were Scott Jardine, Ken Bodeen, Carri Hoagland, Pam Holt, Nora Tribys, Brett Bodeen, Troy Kavajecz, Sharon Graham and Sheila Bergman. Motion was made to accept the meeting minutes from 12/15/2025 by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland. All in favor. Motion was made by Carri Hoagland, second by Ken Bodeen to accept the December 2025 Treasurer report. All in favor.
• Citizen’s Input – Planning Committee. Sharon Graham – Committee will report back next meeting regarding what has been accomplished this past year and what the plan is for 2026. Scott Jardine will make a list of repairs with drawings.
Park Committee/Town Hall.
-Leann Hess/Sheila Bergman – Local kids working on videos promoting the community. David Broadwell is working on mapping Twin Falls Park. Sheila reporting on needing the vent hood for the town hall kitchen. It was suggested that we find a sheet metal company to custom make the vent. There is a Public Facilities block grant that could help for updates needed at the town hall (windows, acoustics, etc.). These grants are 67% State/33% Town cost split.
• Fire Department/EMT. Tygar Leveque – responded to an “unattended fire” – resolved. #2 Fire Truck needs to be retired. Failed pump test and is not safe. Board suggested they look for a used tanker/pumper. Air packs are getting hydro tested.
ON GOING BUSINESS:
• Blacktop projects – Ken Bodeen working on grants
• Solar Project – no update. Scheduled to be completed in June 2026.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Election Inspectors: Motion made by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland to appoint Pamela Lawrenz Holt, Brett Bodeen, Karen Anderson, Bill Bodeen, Ceil Held, Ken Bodeen, Mark Johnson, Janice Beth Lynn, Marge Ogren and Nora Tribys as election inspectors for 2026. All in favor.
• Sanitary District Board – tabled until next meeting.
• Dwelling restrictions – tabled until next meeting
• Sewer rate calculation – discussed changing rate to reflect water usage. More research needed.
• Septic Dumping rates – update pricing effective February 1 to $25/1000 gallons
• ATV maps/Ordinance. No change to current map and ordinance.
• Horse/Carriage reflectors – need to address those carriages without reflectors. May need to go to bishops for the area to get approval.
• Dredging of harbor will probably take place in 2026.
ZONING REQUESTS:
TOWN CREW REPORT: Troy Kavajecz reported on snowplowing, removing holiday decorations, lights added to garage, put on tire chains. Discussed painting the water tower. Sam to go to seminar on sewer plant maintenance.
Next meeting set for February 9, 2026 at 7pm. Meeting adjourned by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland. All in favor.
