NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Town Board Meeting for the Town of Port Wing, in the county of Bayfield, State of Wisconsin, for transaction of business as is by law required or permitted to be transacted at such meeting will be held at the Port Wing Fire Hall: JULY 16, 2026, THURSDAY AT 7:00 PM

FOR THE PURPOSE OF: READING OF THE MINUTES, AND TREASURER’S REPORTS.

CITIZEN INPUT:

• Planning Committee –Updates.

• Park Committee – Firehall Bathrooms. Appoint new committee members.

• Town Hall Committee – Town Hall Roof – Requests for Bids out.

• Sewer extension on White Birch – Teresa Shinedling

FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT:

• Updates from the Fire Department/Ambulance report

• County Board Meeting on EMS on July 15th

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

• Blacktop/Road Projects – Ken Bodeen – report on grant applications. LRIP awarded for Washington Avenue. Construction to begin on Wayside between Port Wing and Orienta.

• Solar Project Updates – Internet Service and financing resolution. Change orders.

• Enduring Lake Superior Communities program Grant – Sewer Grant to research solutions.

• Resolution for additional credit card for town crew

• Reminder – Clean sweep July 23rd 2-6pm Bayfield County Fair Grounds

• Health & Recreation Grant – awarded. Need to order equipment

• Resolution for Local Roads (Wisc Town Assn)

• Town Attorney

• QuickBooks add on for invoicing water utilities. Research other accounting programs.
