NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Town Board Meeting for the Town of Port Wing, in the county of Bayfield, State of Wisconsin, for transaction of business as is by law required or permitted to be transacted at such meeting will be will be held at the Port Wing Fire Hall:

FEBRUARY 9, 2026, MONDAY AT 7:00 PM

FOR THE PURPOSE OF: READING OF THE MINUTES, AND TREASURER’S REPORTS.

CITIZEN INPUT:

• Planning Committee –Updates. Harbor/Dock – Scott Jardine to prepare a list of repairs with drawing. Sharon to provide what was accomplished in 2025 with plans for 2026.

• Park Committee – Updates

• Town Hall – Updates – Shiela Bergman to update on vent hood for town hall kitchen.

FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT:

• Updates from the Fire Department/Ambulance report – Tygar Leveque to research purchase of used tanker/pumper

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

• Blacktop/Road Projects – Ken Bodeen – report on grant applications

• Solar Project Updates

• Community Development Block Grant for Public Facilities – Pam Holt to report on Webinar

• Dwelling restrictions for new construction, mobile homes, etc. (tabled from last meeting)

• Sanitary District Board (tabled from last meeting)

• Sewer rate calculations (tabled from last meeting)

• Reflectors/Signs on horse drawn carriages – Scott Jardine to meet with Amish community members to discuss safety requirements.

NEW BUSINESS:

• AARP Grant – Shiela Bergman

• Timber Sale Revenue payment from Bayfield County

• UDC Building Inspection Fees – needs board approval

• Northwood Technical College – Board vacancies

ZONING: Bayfield County special use permit for addition to Hwy Garage for solar equipment. G Fladeboe 11780 North Sherman Rd – relocate bunkhouse
