Meeting called to order at 7 pm, by Chairman, Scott Jardine. Pledge of Allegiance. Present were Scott Jardine, Ken Bodeen, Carri Hoagland, Pam Holt, Nora Tribys, Brett Bodeen, Sam Kurland, and Troy Kavajecz. Motion was made to accept the meeting minutes Budget meeting and Town Meeting from 1-8-2024 by Carri Hoagland, second by Ken Bodeen. All in favor. Motion was made by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland to accept the January 2024 Treasurer report. All in favor.

Citizen’s Input –

• Fire Department/EMT. Reviewed Fire Department and EMT reports. Tygar reported they are looking at grant for turnout gear. Reviewed Fire Inspection Report. Troy and Sam will be looking at Fire Extinguisher subcontract for the town buildings.

ON GOING BUSINESS:

• Solar Project/EV/Microgrid – No update.
• Blacktop projects –LRIP will be awarded in March. No new info on entitlement projects.
• Sewer extension on 5th St. – Bid opening set for March 11th at 7pm
• Wisconsin DOT Small Bridge/Culvert Program – Motion was made by Carri Hoagland to hire Delmore Consulting to complete Culvert Inventory that is required by Wisconsin DOT, second by Ken Bodeen. All in favor.

NEW BUSINESS:

• Wisconsin DOT Small Bridge/Culvert Program – Motion was made by Carri Hoagland to hire Delmore Consulting to complete Culvert Inventory that is required by Wisconsin DOT, second by Ken Bodeen. All in favor.
• Motion to approve purchase of Tablet and software (split the cost with Sanitary District) for town crew was make by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland. All in favor.
• Reviewed Bayfield County Amendatory Ordinance for fee schedule.
• Review Bayfield County’s request for Alternates for the Board of Adjustment
• Cemetery Board – Leann Hess. Sam Kurland appointed to Cemetery Board.
• Clerk & Treasurer’s Institute Seminar approved for Pam Holt in July.
• Nora – Harbor Fees not increased for many years. Discussion tabled until next meeting.

ZONING REQUESTS: None

OPERATOR’S INPUT: Troy discussed Xcel Energy project with road limits. Water line breaks fixed. Discussed energy audit. Troy will attend WRWA Conference in LaCrosse March 25-29 (Rural Water). Need to fix light fixture on flag pole in park.

Next meeting set for March 11, 2024, at 7pm AT FIRE HALL. Meeting adjourned by Ken Bodeen, second by Carri Hoagland. All in favor. THIS DATE WAS CHANGED TO MARCH 19th AT 7PM. BID OPENING ONLY ON MARCH 11.
