PORT WING TOWN EMERGENCY BOARD MEETING MINUTES

PW Emergency Town Meeting Minutes 04-24-21

Meeting called to order at 8:00 Am, by Chairman, Russell Bailey. Present were Russell Bailey, Ken Bodeen, and Pam Holt. Scott Jardine was out of the area and was excused from the meeting.

ON GOING BUSINESS:

Gravel Bid Selection. The town received four bids as follows:

Olson Brothers – $18.68/yd

South Shore Sand & Gravel – $26.05/yd

Trusty Trucking – $18.68/yd

Sipsas Excavating & Trucking $18.49/yd

The town has not hired Sipsas before, so Russell asked them for references. Russell received good references from the Supervisors from the Town of Brule and Iron River. Based on this information, Russell made a motion to accept the bid from Sipsas Excavating & Trucking. Second from Ken.

Meeting adjourned by Russell with a second from Ken.
