Sharon Durken, Local Author Appearance

Sharon will be presenting her book Kansas Prairie Promises.
“The story follows 11-year-old Lucinda as she grows up navigating life on the prairie,
her secret friendship with an enslaved girl, decisions,
lies and the roles of women during those times,” Durken said.
